PCJR Productions-- DISTRIBUTION-- The First Phase

In 2 years of operating PCJR Productions, it has become progressively obvious that a missing element to the gospel music matrix (primarily youth-oriented gospel music such as gospel go-go and holy hip-hop) is Distribution. This element is not missing amongst artists who have ascended to the attention level of major gospel music distributors that do exist-- (Thank God for Those that Do Exist); however this element is missing for the artists who are aspiring to increase the awareness of the existence of their ministry beyond the borders of their neighborhood block (or church or city or state). It is with this element that PCJR Productions is in the process of preparing to assist.

Distribution (distributing) is comprehensively defined by Webster as the act or process of spreading out so as to cover something among several or many by giving out or delivering, especially to members of a group. Though not as detailed in definition, the word "distribution" is found twice in the Bible-- Acts 4:35 and II Corinthians 9:13. Because God has brought this bottleneck to my attention, just as treasurers were made over the treasuries by Nehemiah (Neh. 13:13), PCJR Productions is prayerful for progress in taking on the office of this task of being good, being rich in good works, ready to distribute (in this case, music) unto all brethren (I Tim. 6:18).

Although PCJR Productions plans to distribute music to all brethren, it does not plan to distribute all music. PCJR Productions strives to be a ministry operated on a principle of quality, not quantity. Therefore, all music that does qualify as gospel go-go or gospel rap will be intensely evaluted prior to potential distribution via PCJR Productions. PCJR Productions is willing to share feedback/results of reviewed music with persons associated with CD in question. The sharing of music review results will only be effective if it is understood and accepted on the basis of Proverbs 27:17.
